Our Consultation Service

How Does the Consultation Work?

Fieldstone's childcare search consultation is carried out in three phases:

Phase I: Survey & Analysis

We begin with a comprehensive survey designed to identify your childcare needs and preferences which incudes schedule, budget, educational philosophy, flexibility and other criteria pertaining to the care and education of your infant, toddler or preschooler. This valuable information will guide your consultant in narrowing the parameters of your search and identifying a first round picks.

Phase II: First Round Picks

In Phase II, your consultant will present a set of  first round options that meet your criteria. Each option  will come with  a program profile that includes schedules, calendars, tuitions, program size, waitlist info, placement options and other specifics to help you evaluate the suitability of the program.

Phase III: Site visits and follow up

Visiting potential providers is a critical component in the search process. However, without proper preparation this can be a missed opportunity. Your consultant will walk you through the process and provide you with tips and inside intel so that you make the most of each visit and ask the right questions.

Post-visit, your consultant will help you debrief and narrow your search even further. Once you have identified your “top picks”, your consultant will do another round of fact finding, which may include a program’s compliance history, any investigations conducted, parent reviews and a deeper dive into staff qualifications, child/educator ratios, and program policies. With this comprehensive knowledge, you can feel confident you are making the best choice for your child!
