FAQ's

Q: Does the process guarantee I will find a spot in my top picks?

A: No, the consultation does not guarantee an opening will be available in a parent's top picks. However, it will provide detailed information on each program's availability, waiting lists, enrollment timeline and tips on how to maximize chances of moving from a wait list status to enrolled.

Q. How long will the process take?

A. This will depends on a number of factors, including the responsiveness of programs, scheduling of parent tours, and parents' availability to meet with the consultant. Generally speaking, the full process should take no longer than 6-8 weeks. However, we recommend parents start the search 9 months prior to needing childcare or a preschool program as quality programs are in high demand and deposits and commitments are often required several months in advance of a child's start date.

Q: Does the consultation include all types of childcare, including family childcare and nanny care?

A. Yes. While the staring point for a consultation is the parents' preference for a specific type of childcare, the consultant may encourage parents to broaden their search based on the results of the Parent Survey and/or discussions.

Q. Do you receive any type of financial consideration for recommending a program ?

A. No. I have no financial or business relationship with programs or nannies and do not receive any type of compensation for recommendations. I am the owner and operator of Cornerstone Campus Preschool, a non profit school in Quincy, MA. This is fully disclosed at the beginning of each consultation along with my strategy to avoid any conflicts of interest. My only "interest" is finding the best program  to meet each family's unique needs.

Q. What if I am unhappy with the program once my child begins attending? Do I receive any type of refund?

A. Refunds are not given if parents determine that the program they chose does not meet their expectations. However, in this scenario, the consultant will provide an additional 2 hours of free consultation to hear directly from the parents about their experience with the program and provide guidance with next steps.
